II Kings 4:1-7 A certain woman of the wives of the sons of the prophets cried out to Elisha, saying, “Your servant my husband is dead, and you know that your servant feared the Lord. And the creditor is coming to take my two sons to be his slaves.” So Elisha said to her, “What shall I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” And she said, “Your maidservant has nothing in the house but a jar of oil.” Then he said, “Go, borrow vessels from everywhere, from all your neighbors—empty vessels; do not gather just a few. And when you have come in, you shall shut the door behind you and your sons; then pour it into all those vessels, and set aside the full ones.” So she went from him and shut the door behind her and her sons, who brought the vessels to her; and she poured it out. Now it came to pass, when the vessels were full, that she said to her son, “Bring me another vessel.” And he said to her, “There is not another vessel.” So the oil ceased. Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debt; and you and your sons live on the rest.”
Now let's go over this: It was the relationship that gave her confidence and expectation that she would be helped in some way. The prophet used the small jar of oil she had as the basis for the blessing. He multiplied what she had. The amount of blessing she received depended on her ability to follow his instructions. Every jar she got would be filled whether she got 50 jars or 200 jars. Now she could sell the oil, pay off her debts and live in retirement.
Kingdom finances involves your relationship with God through Jesus. It involves you offering what you have to the kingdom to be multiplied. It involves following instructions instead of coming up with a great idea yourself. It involves gathering, harvesting, not laboring. It involves having a way to receive the blessing - a way to contain it. It involves paying off debts. It means making in a short time what it would take days, months, and years to earn. God wants to bless us and he has already blessed us in and through Jesus. We just do not know how to tap into the kingdom to receive what is already ours. God says...
Malachi 3:10 Bring all the tithes (offerings) into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and prove me now herewith, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

- He admonished her not to borrow just a few.
